The Bahamas U/15 continued its domination of the ICC Americas Central Division Under-15 Tournament by once again defeating Cayman Islands U/15.
The host nation asserted its strength by beating the opposition by nine wickets, thereby winning all three of its tournament matches played to date by the same margin.
Having won the toss, the Cayman Islands got off to an excellent start when it reached 52-1, but then lost six quick wickets for 29 runs.
The demolition was led by Matthew Jesubatham who took 4-19, although a 35-run partnership between Paul Laidlaw (19 not out) and Joneil Bent (9 not out) helped the Cayman Islands reach 115-7 off 30 overs.
In reply a brilliant 95-run partnership between Turan Brown (37) and Akash Galati (51 not out) ensured the Bahamas never had to worry about reaching its target.
