Canada bounced on Thursday to defeat Afghanistan by four wickets and level the two-match ODI series at 1-1.
Afghanistan got off to a terrible start when it was reduced to 4-3 and then 38-5, with Khurram Chohan (4-43) in outstanding form.
Mohammad Nabi (62) and Raees Ahmadzai (37) managed to help it up to 177 all out, but that never looked enough against a side that will be playing in the ICC Cricket World Cup 2011.
Ashish Bagai (52) once again led the way for his side as Canada reached its target with 10.4 overs to spare.
The match was the 200th ODI ever to take place at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium.
