Pepsi International Cricket Council Americas U19 Division 2 Championships Preview - Suriname
On day one of the Pepsi International Cricket Council Americas U19 Division 2 Championships we think it's about time we have a look at the hosts, the Bahamas.

The Bahamas squad is young and inexperienced. Captained by Nandkumar Jagroo the main batsman of the team and young spinner has a lot on his shoulders as he attempts to guide a very young team through the tournament. He will provide a strong foundation for the innings from the outset and look to trouble batsman with his variations.

Jagroo will look for support from Sharone Kemp. He will open alongside Jagroo and is known for his aggressive approach. He will also open the bowling for this Bahamas side with his slippery medium pacers.

The Bahamas team will look for quick runs from Cody Dean. His ability to clear the boundary will come in handy in the last 8 overs as the side pushes the score along. The generally reliable Dean will be a big scalp for opposition bowlers, as his ability to tear the game apart is a huge bonus for the Bahamas.

Keenan Longley will be charged with the responsibility of leading this team through this tournament in the field. The tall quick will need a couple of early breakthroughs to ensure his young team remains energetic in the field.

It's going to be a tough ask for this young team, but against adversity and with a bit of luck this Bahamas team might surprise a few people along the way.
