ICC Americas, on behalf of its members, is calling for expressions of interest for volunteers to fulfil a range of exciting volunteer positions. These positions will focus on the sustainable development of grassroots cricket in their respective locations.
Cricket Peru - Plan Magdalena Project Manager (6 - 12 Months)
Working alongside the National Development Officer, the Plan Magdalena Project Manager will be responsible for the implementation of a structured, focused programme to expand awareness of cricket and foster greater, sustained participation. Cricket Peru will provide an introductory Spanish language course for the successful candidate.
Costa Rica Cricket Federation - Cricket Development Coordinator (12 months - Flexible)
The Cricket Development Coordinator will work with Costa Rica Cricket Federation to develop all forms of cricket, with a specific focus on the development of the School Programs and Junior competitions. Fluent Spanish would be advantageous; however is not a requirement of this position.
Bermuda Cricket Board - Women's Cricket Coordinator (6 months)
This role will focus on the development of Women's cricket in Bermuda. Working with local staff and volunteers, this position will oversee the development of a Senior Women's Competition, Junior Girls Competition and the formalisation of the current schools programs.
Requirements for a successful candidate include:
- Understanding, prior knowledge of, and interest in cricket
- Existing knowledge of Spanish or willingness to learn (Costa Rica and Peru only)
- Ability to financially sustain 6-12 months basic living expenses.
The successful applicants will be expected to pay for their flights to their host country, as well as other in country expenses. These expenses will vary from country to country.
