In the first game of day 2 the main stadium was the setting for Bermuda to take on Suriname. Suriname won the toss and decided to bat first on a good pitch. Their top order all made contributions to the steady progress of the innings, Shazam Ramjohn was top scoring with 42 and Sauid Drepaul made 35. The innings lost a bit of momentum towards the end but a respectable score of 138-8 was still posted. For Bermuda Rodney Trott returned figures of 3-17 and was the pick of the bowlers.
In reply Bermuda made a steady start with David Hemp and Stephen Outerbridge putting on 37 for the second wicket. When Lionel Cann was dismissed, 4th out for 0 with the score on 91, there were 6 overs left and the game looked to be heading for a tight finish. However Janerio Tucker had other ideas and struck 6 sixes in his 65 not out, including 4 in the last 4 balls he faced to finish the game. Bermuda won the game by 6 wickets and Janerio Tucker was deservedly named man of the match.
In the days second game at the stadium Bahamas won the toss and decided to bat first against the hosts. They made slow progress early on in the innings but showed a marked improvement from the two games the previous day. Ryan Tappin and Jonathan Barry both got into the 20's and then a late cameo of 31 from 16 balls from Turan Brown saw them post a target of 113. The USA bowlers shared the wickets but Barrington Bartley with 2-9 was the pick of the bowlers.
In reply USA lost Steven Taylor early; he was unlucky to be run out at the bowlers end following a drive from Ryan Corns. However Corns didn't let the incident get to him and batted through the innings for 61 not out to see the USA home to an easy victory, he was supported by Orlando Baker with 24 not out. Ryan Corns was named man of the match for his performance. The USA won by 8 wickets with more than 5 overs to spare.
