Morning rain cut the game between USA and Canada down to 30 overs per side in the third game of the week. USA batted first after winning the toss and their captain Steven Taylor again played a loose shot to follow a couple of boundaries and was caught at short extra cover. Only Armarnauth Persaud and Vibhav Altekar passed 20 in another poor batting performance by USA, the innings closing on 112 all out with one ball to spare. Four different bowlers all got 2 wickets, each in a good all round bowling performance.
In reply Canada paced their chase well and they reached their target 4 wickets down with 7 balls to spare. Sudeepta Aurka top scored with 40 and Nikhil Dutta was there at the end on 35 not out. For USA both Ryan Persaud and Shakeel Ahmad both picked up a wicket.

USA 112-10 (A Persaud 28, Altekar 22. Manoosingh 2-17, Dutta 2-18)
Canada 113-4 ( Aurka 40, Dutta 35 n.o.)

Points: Canada 13 USA 1
