Rain wins again in Scotland

For the third successive day, play has been abandoned without a ball being bowled in the ICC Intercontinental Cup match between Scotland and Canada at Uddingston.
With the ground already sodden from rain earlier in the week, further showers on Friday morning saw the umpires make their inevitable decision to call off proceedings at 11.40am.
Although an outright result now seems highly unlikely, there are still points to be contested for should play be possible on Saturday’s final day.
Scotland currently lie third in the table with Canada bottom after failing to register a point in their opening three games.
