West Indies U19s ended Canada's hopes of levelling the two-match series with a six-wicket victory at Warner Park in St. Kitts on Wednesday.
The visitors batted first with openers Hiral Patel (25) and Ruvindu Gunasekara (16) taking the score to 25-0 in the first five overs. But a tight bowling display by West Indies choked the Canadians as it began to lose wickets at regular intervals. Darius D'Souza top-scored with 26 runs as the innings closed on 125 all out in 42 overs.
In reply, West Indies put up 51 runs on the board in the first ten overs for the loss of just a wicket. Rain caused some delay in the game before the hosts finished the match in just 26 overs for the loss of only four wickets
