It is all Argentina again on Day 3
The third day of the ICC Americas Southern Division U15 Championship saw the beginning of the T20 competition with Chile facing Argentina in the morning and Peru v Argentina in the afternoon game.

T20 Game 1 - Chile v Argentina

Argentina won the toss and batted and was soon racing towards another big score. The openers, Lautaro Musiani and Ramiro Escobar put on 87 from only 6 overs before Musiani was finally caught (he had been dropped 3 times) for 32. Escobar went on to score 52 but they had paved the way for the 'big man' Mateo Arrighi (83 not out) to come in and open his shoulders to help blast Argentina to a formidable score of 5-234.

Chile looked to be collapsing in their innings until Mitchell Olive arrived at the crease and started to take the attack to Argentina. He scored a quick fire 64 from 46 balls before finally succumbing to the pressure of the run-rate and the accuracy of the Argentina attack. Escobar took 3-11 from 3 overs and was the deserved man of the match.

T20 Game 2 - Peru v Argentina

Peru won the toss and batted and immediately put pressure on Argentina with a rapid opening. Yesterday's centurion, James King and Captain Santiago Chavez put on a determined 41 for the first 5 overs and Peru was looking dangerous, however the introduction of spin started a collapse that only stopped when Peru were all out for 75 after 14.4 overs. The Argentina bowlers shared the wickets around but Captain Lautaro Musiani bagged an incredible 4 for 1 from 3 overs.

Argentina must have been feeling the cold as they went after the target in a hurry. James King (2-13) bowled superbly and took 2 wickets with the final two balls of his 4-over spell. However, Argentina reached the target after just 8.2 overs. Musiani scored the winning runs, reaching his fifty and took out the man of the match.
