Canada XI registered a 34-run win over USA XI at the Toronto Cricket Skating and Curling Club to claim the Auty Cup in a two-day match held on 15 and 16 August.
The first innings for both sides was restricted to 45 overs a side and for the second it was limited to 40 overs.
Canada XI batted first and posted 239 for four thanks to Hiral Patel (75), Rustam Bhatti (53) and Nitish Kumar (58).
In its reply, USA XI was bowled out for 166 with only skipper Jignesh Desai making a worthwhile 43. Khurran Chohan with figures of 3-40 was the best bowler for Canada XI as the hosts took a 73-run lead.
Hiral Patel (80) and skipper Jimmy Hansra's 100 off 89 balls helped Canada XI post an impressive 231 for six in 40 overs of the second innings.
Set to chase 305, USA XI was bowled out for 270 in 39.4 overs. Anand Tummala (63) and skipper Desai (62) waged a valiant battle for USA XI but it was not enough.
For Canada XI, Parth Desai with figures of 3-72, Junaid Siddiqui (3-71) and Hansra (3-39) were the best bowlers on view.
