Devon Thomas (51) starred in West Indies High Performance Centre XI's five-wicket win over Bermuda XI in a 50-over match in the Cricket Canada festival.
At the Malton Cricket Club in in Mississauga, Ontario, just outside Toronto, Thomas held his nerves to help script a win in a tense low-scoring game.
Bermuda XI batting first posted a meagre 134 from 43.2 overs with top score from Dion Stovell (31). West Indies HPC XI fast bowlers Jason Holder, Kieron Cottoy and left armer Delorn Johnson picked three wickets apiece.
In reply, West Indies HPC XI overhauled the target with Thomas - who played as a batsman while Shane Dowrich took up wicketkeeping duties - held his nerve after a late flurry of wickets.
The 50-over competition re-started on Tuesday after rains played spoilsport on the final day of the twenty20 competition on Sunday.
The final and last league game of the twenty20 event between hosts Canada XI and West Indies HPC XI was washed out.
