After winning both the four-day ICC Intercontinental Shield match and the 50-over series comfortably, UAE continued its winning run in the Twenty20 format against a helpless Bermuda by claiming the two-match series at National Stadium, Hamilton on Monday.
UAE elected to bat first in the first Twenty20 game and posted 178-7 with a top score from opener Amjad Ali (53). In reply, it restricted the hosts to 157-6 in 20 overs to celebrate a 21-run victory.
In the second match, Ali once again top scored with a useful century to take his side to 188-7. UAE then produced tight bowling led by Shadeep Silva (3-19) to dismiss Bermuda for 87 all out in 17 overs and win by 101 runs.
