After claiming the ICC Intercontinental Shield game against Bermuda by nine wickets, UAE continued its winning run in the 50-over series with a comfortable 134-run victory at National Stadium, Hamilton to claim the series 2-0 on Sunday.
Batting first, UAE posted a total of 302-5 in 50 overs with top scores from Amjad Javed (89 not out), Abdul Rehman (57 not out) and skipper Khurram Khan (51). Rodney Trott was the pick of the bowlers with figures of 2-44.
In reply, Bermuda struggled against the tight bowling display by the visitors, led by Ahmed Raza (3-29) and Khan (3-25) as it crumbled to 168 all out in the 47th over.
With this victory, UAE claims the two-match 50-over series following its massive 167-run victory in the first game. The two sides will next meet for the two-match Twenty20 series held at the same venue on Monday.
