Tue, Jun 1, 2010 9:00 PM

Bahamas won the toss and elected to bat in their clash with the regions High Performance Team at St. Georges and the gulf between the teams was cruelly exposed by the Canadians who won by 10 wickets inside 10 overs.

Six Canadian bowlers shared the wicket as none of the Bahamas batters were able to get in and stay in. Again they contributed to their own downfall on a number of occasions as only Narendra Ekanayake passed 20, he top scored with 31 not out. For Canada Hiral Patel picked up 3-15 with his left arm spin.

In reply Canada, and in particular Rizwan Cheema, proved too strong and a flurry of boundaries saw them reach their target in the 9th over. Man of the Match Rizwan Cheema hit 16 boundaries in his 43 ball unbeaten 85. Both teams now prepare for important matches at different ends of the table on Thursday.
